Capitalization :
§ Review of CWIP account to ensure no opex items have
been included
§ Ensuring all pertinent data are available
§ First level coordination with business for GRN and
installation certificates on transnational basis
§ Reconciliation of CWIP between AP and FA modules in
Oracle. This includes ensuring that AP has uploaded all pertinent documents
§ Preparation of capitalization forms
§ Parking of capitalization entries in FA module
§ Maintaining complete documentation of fixed assets
§ Reclassification of opex out of CWIP by sharing the
listing with AP and following up on the same

Retirement :
§ Includes sale to outside vendors and within the entity
§ Ensuring all action items on checklist prepared for
sale of assets are followed
§ This includes, getting comparative quotes, ensuring
appropriate tax invoices are raised, perform activities required by legal
team, ensuring appropriate and adequate approvals are in place
§ Ensure all supporting documentation are properly
maintained
§ Booking of retirement in Oracle, FA module as per SOP
prepared
