Applications are invited from married/ unmarried male and unmarried female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel for grant of Short Service
Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army in all Arms Services. Course commencing in October 2017 at Officers Training Academy (OTA),Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
- 49th SSC (Technical) for Men : 175 posts in various Engineering streams, Age : 20-27 years
- 20th SSC (Technical) Women : 20 posts in various Engineering streams, Age : 20-27 years
- Widows of Defence Personnel : 01 post, Age : 19-29/20-31 years
- Pay Scale : ₹15600-39100 Grade Pay ₹5400 and MPS ₹6000/-
